Alexis Appelstein, DO, is a board-certified anesthesiologist. She began her career concentrating on general anesthesia in private practice in New York. She has also worked as an anesthesiology question bank author. Dr. Appelstein currently works in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Appelstein graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Binghamton with a bachelor’s degree in English. She completed her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine with admittance into the Psi Sigma Alpha National Osteopathic Honor Society. Dr. Appelstein then completed a surgical internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and subsequently completed her residency in anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
