Ami A. Shah, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery, and is a practicing clinician located in the Bay Area, California. Currently, she works for Kaiser Permanente, consults for healthcare tech, and is the owner and founder of one of the Bay Area’s first mobile aesthetic practices. Dr. Shah has authored various medical publications, lectures nationally, mentors physicians, and trains physicians interested in mastering aesthetic injectables.
Dr. Shah received her bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a degree in biology. She graduated as the youngest physician in her class after gaining admission into the University’s early medical school acceptance program. After a transitional year at West Suburban in Oak Park, Illinois, Dr. Shah completed her post-graduate training in ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and furthered her skill set by completing advanced training in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery at Stanford University.
