Archana Sharma, DO, FAAP, is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She practices at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Sharma is part of a collaborative group that studies the effects of COVID-19 on pediatric oncology patients. This group has gone on to publish its findings in prominent journals. She is interested in benign hematology and supportive care in chronic pediatric conditions.
Dr. Sharma completed undergraduate studies at Rutgers University and medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sharma completed her residency and fellowship at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (now known as Rutgers Medical School). She was also a pediatric chief resident after residency.
