Carly Snyder, MD, is a board-certified reproductive and perinatal psychiatrist with a unique approach that combines traditional psychiatry with integrative medicine-based treatments. A former member of the Verywell Health medical expert board, she maintains a private practice on the Upper East Side in NYC where she serves as Director of Women’s Health for Family Health Associates.
She is a voluntary faculty member at NY-Presbyterian Weill Cornell and at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Centers. She was a long-time board member for Postpartum Support International and now serves on the President’s Council. She is a frequent writer and contributor to many news and media outlets and has her own HuffPost blog and radio show/podcast called MD for Moms. She was named a "Rising Star" by Super Doctors in 2019.

She completed her psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center with additional reproductive psychiatry elective training at the Payne Whitney Women’s Program at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.
