Christine L. Larsen, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery, currently practicing at Minnesota Eye Consultants in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. She serves as medical director for the practice’s four ancillary surgery centers. She also serves as adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Larsen is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has been involved in medical mission initiatives within the United States and internationally.
Dr. Larsen pursued her undergraduate degree at Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in biology. She completed her doctorate of medicine degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Larsen completed her ophthalmology residency training at the same institution, where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed her fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
