Corinne Savides Happel, MD, is a board-certified allergist/immunologist with a focus on allergic skin disorders including atopic dermatitis. She also treats patients with asthma, allergies, and other immune disorders.
Dr. Happel's interest in atopic dermatitis began during her fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where she worked with patients who have genetic disorders that predispose them to severe atopic dermatitis and food allergies; she published this work in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Happel began practice in her role as Assistant Professor, Part-Time for the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2015 and sees patients at the Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center.
In 2019, she became a fellow of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology (AAAAI), and has been an invited speaker at the AAAAI's national meeting for three years. She has served as an abstract reviewer for the AAAAI Annual Meeting since 2016 and as a member of the AAAAI's Allergic Skin Diseases Committee since 2017.
Corinne Savides Happel, MD, earned her BA and graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College. She earned her MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society there. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and went on to complete a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the National Institutes of Health.
