Diana Apetauerova, MD, is board-certified in neurology with a subspecialty in movement disorders. She is also a Director of the Movement Disorders Program at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Apetauerova serves as an associate clinical professor of neurology at Tufts School of Medicine and is a visiting associate clinical professor at Charles University School of Medicine in the Czech Republic.
She is active in clinical practice, and she served as a consultant in pediatric movement disorders at the Children’s Hospital, Boston for 13 years. Dr. Apetauerova is active in research and education, has published numerous peer to peer articles, and has organized local and international medical conferences. She has previously been named to “Best Doctors” by Boston Magazine.
Dr. Apetauerova received her medical degree at Charles University Pilsen, Czech Republic. She did her residency in neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She also completed a research neurophysiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a clinical fellowship in movement disorders at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
