Edmund Khoo, DDS, currently teaches full-time as a clinical associate professor at his alma mater, New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Khoo also actively publishes in multiple journals, including the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and the Journal of Dental Research. He has been invited to chair and judge numerous scientific sessions and is also a peer reviewer for professional journals.
Dr. Khoo currently serves on multiple advisory boards and committees in various professional organizations including the American Dental Education Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Not only is he board certified in orthodontics but is also a guest examiner for the American Board of Orthodontics. His academic and research interests include but are not limited to the biology of tooth movement, accelerated tooth movement, evidence based dentistry, biomechanics, and mechanotherapy.
Dr. Khoo is board-certified in orthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He received his dental degree with Honors from the University of Western Australia and his specialty training in orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry.
