Elizabeth I. Molina Ortiz, MD, MPH, is a board-certified specialist in family medicine and a Primary Care Provider with Atrius Health. Previously, she served for 6 years as the medical director of Charles River Community Health, a busy multidisciplinary community health center serving a very diverse patient population. There, she supervised primary care providers, nursing staff, and a behavioral health department, and ensured the delivery of patient-focused team-based care.
Prior to her work at Charles River Community Health, Dr. Molina Ortiz was the Diabetes Medical Director for the Institute for Family Health, where she was responsible for supervising the delivery of evidence-based care for this chronic disease across 17 health centers. She has a passion for prevention, dedication to empowering patients in their care, and a deep understanding of public health factors impacting health and wellbeing.
Dr. Molina Ortiz attended Harvard University for her undergraduate degree in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She went on to earn a master's at Tufts University School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts, and also attended medical school at Tufts. She completed her family medicine residency at the Institute for Family Health in New York City.
