Gagandeep Brar, MD, is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist in Los Angeles, California. She has a research interest in gastrointestinal malignancies with a focus on immune and targeted therapies. Her work has been published in Journal of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research and British Journal of Cancer.
Dr. Brar graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University with a B.S. in Biology. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine training at Rochester Regional Medical Center and hematology/medical oncology fellowship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University. She completed an additional research year at the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute. She joined Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and medical oncologist after completing her training. She recently relocated to California and joined City of Hope.
