Heather Woolery-Lloyd, MD, is an internationally recognized dermatology and wellness expert and a former member of the Verywell Health medical expert board. She is board-certified in Dermatology and Lifestyle Medicine, and has lectured at national and international conferences on healthy aging strategies in skincare and wellness. She has been featured as an expert in various publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Forbes.
Dr. Woolery-Lloyd practices dermatology in both a private practice and an academic setting. She currently serves as Director of the Skin of Color Division for the University of Miami Department of Dermatology. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Skin of Color Society, and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Woolery-Lloyd completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and later earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her training in dermatology at the University of Miami where she also served as chief resident.
