Johnstone M. Kim, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a practicing physician at Midwest Retina in Dublin, Ohio. Prior to joining Midwest Retina, Dr. Kim served as a full-time faculty member at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. He has been involved in the training of medical students, ophthalmology residents, and vitreo-retinal fellows. He has contributed to a number of publications and medical journals and lectures at both local and national ophthalmology conferences.
Dr. Kim received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a degree in biochemistry in the first class of P. Roy Vagelos Science Scholars. He completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana with post-graduate training in ophthalmology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and vitreo-retinal surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
