Matthew Wosnitzer, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologic surgeon, clinical professor, and author.
He specializes in male infertility (male reproductive medicine and surgery) within the Yale New Haven Health System, multi-specialty Northeast Medical Group in Fairfield, Connecticut. He is an active fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Urological Association, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the American Society of Andrology.
Dr. Wosnitzer has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and chapters in male infertility, andrology, and general urology. He has received recognition and awards for his work. He is a reviewer for several journals. As a clinical teaching faculty member, he regularly lectures medical students and physicians.
Dr. Wosnitzer graduated from Columbia University and attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed urology residency at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Subsequently, Dr. Wosnitzer completed Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery Fellowship in the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital. He also completed a research fellowships with the Doris Duke Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
