Simone Harounian, MS, RDN, CDN, CDCES, is a registered dietitian and assistant professor at LaGuardia Community College. In addition to her work as a lead dietitian, Simone is a nutrition consultant for a variety of health and wellness initiatives. She is also co-author of the cookbooks Diabetes Slow Cooker Cookbook and The Diabetes Cookbook for Electric Pressure Cookers.
Simone earned her bachelor's degree and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. She completed a dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital where she planned and implemented nutritional care plans for patients.
